Winter Workshops
Build Your Own Toboggan
February 4-5
Build a snow craft of ancient origins.
In this class participants will steam bend and assemble their own wooden toboggan. Everyone will leave this workshop with a finished 8’-12’ long toboggan of their own.
Workshop length – 2 full days from 9:00 – 5:00
Class fee - $200.00 per person (include instruction, and all materials…staves, cross bars, rivets, rope)

Snowshoe Assembly Workshop
Weaving the Ojibwe snowshoe
January 21-22
In this class participants will assemble pre-bent frames and then fill in the weave of snowshoe. We will be focusing on tight weave shoes.
Workshop length - 2 full days from 9 – 5
Class fee - $165.00 (includes nylon for lacing)
*Babiche (rawhide) may be available for participant at a separate cost.

One on One workshops Available
We do promote the idea that folks can come and work on any of the projects we teach in a one on one workshop or small groups. This could be Birch Bark Canoe building,Snowshoe building, Toboggan building, Spoon carving, Ski making, Bowl carving or Turning with a spring pole lathe, and Basketry, making Crooked Knives....etc. Just give us a call or Email.
